About Us

Made in Aotearoa, New Zealand by founder Monica.  Much care is put into each recipe developed and every bottle produced.  These boutique, artisanal skin care products are made in small batches to ensure quality is not compromised. 

With an affinity for medicinal plants and herbs, Monica carefully tailors each formula in a way that makes each botanical shine.  Some plants are grown in-house, some are respectfully wild harvested with permission, and others are sourced from professionals in their field.

Monica has a Diploma in Organic Skincare Formulation, and has done various Herbalism, and Plant Medicine studies, along with Rongoā Whenua, and Horticulture. 

"In another life I was a French trained Pastry Chef, working in boutiques and Michelin starred restaurants in Europe.  It was a fast-paced lifestyle.  The hours were long and after a number of years I didn't see any purpose in it any more.  I had grown older and wanted to do something meaningful and contributory to others.
  

"Something I've wanted to create for a number of years was some sort of give-back initiative in local communities, and assist with environmental regenerative projects, so it's really cool that I can now do that.  I'm very passionate about our native bush and forests, and really any and all natural environments around the planet - coral reefs, rainforests, old growth forests - so I'm a real advocate for being mindful of what you're consuming and how that is affecting everything, minimising your impact, and giving back to Mother Earth and being thankful."
