Philosophy

 At Wainui Botanics, we believe in looking after nature, and in turn we will be well.  We believe the building blocks to a glowing complexion are a healthy diet, regular exercise, and hydrating with plenty of luscious clean water, and we strive to craft the most complimentary skin care available to bring out your best skin.

 Since we are using ingredients from Mother Nature, seems only fit to give back to her also.  We are involved in restoration projects, and community initiatives.  For every product sold $1 is put forward to restore native forests and bush in New Zealand.

We are committed to palm free ingredients, non GMO, cruelty free - just natural gentle yet effective components.  Where possible we also opt for the organic option, yet sometimes this is not always possible. 

We have incorporated a range of different methods into the way we formulate our skin care - with Traditional and Modern Herbalism, Rongoā Whenua, and lab extracted botanicals.  We also use many actives in our formulas, freshly extracted from locally grown flora.  Because of the methods we incorporate, you are guaranteed to receive product which has been hand made with love and care, from right here in Aotearoa New Zealand.  Our methods ensure it is not possible to outsource to large manufacturing companies, as we feel when things are mass-produced in a factory off-site, the essence and energy within the product changes, and it's magic is lost.

We grow many of the plants that are used in our formulas on-site, and are continuing to expand both the growing side of things, and are working on broadening our range of skin products to offer you.
